                                                Educational Programs


                                                Promoting Future Scientists

                                                VGTI Florida has partnered with the St. Lucie County School District to bring exciting educational experience to students in local schools by providing real-world science learning opportunities.

                                                The program has three components:
                                                Picture
                                                Elementary School
                                                "Saturdays with Scientists" for fifth-grade students

                                                Middle School
                                                "Learning with Scientists in My Classroom" for eighth-grade students

                                                High School
                                                "Working Alongside a Scientist" for Juniors and Seniors interested in pursuing science-related careers

                                                Saturday with Scientists

                                                Fifth-grade students will have the opportunity to learn how scientists work and communicate, explore the role of research in scientific investigations, and understand the process of data collection and analysis. Each St. Lucie County school zone will send 25 students.

                                                Treasure Coast High School
                                                November 13 and December 11
                                                Fort Pierce Central High School
                                                January 8 and February 12
                                                St. Lucie West Centennial High School
                                                May 14 and June 11
